Word of the Day: "Clocky"
A 25-year-old Massachusetts Institute of Technology student has invented a revolutionary alarm clock 'clocky,' in this undated photo, that falls to the floor and rolls away on the first push of the snooze button. To turn it off, a person must get out of bed and find it. The clock features two rubber wheels and is covered in thick, 1970s-style shag carpet and other material to cushion it when it tumbles to the floor.

3 People felt compelled to leave their vast wisdom
I saw that yesterday and thought it was the funniest thing ever!
Personally my alarm is across the room so I have to get totally out of bed to turn it off. Then I realize I have to pee, so I am up for good.
Yeah, I did have to move my alarm lately to farther away than arm's reach because I was late to work twice and I didn't even remember turning off the alarm in my sleep. That's why I thought this CLOCKY sounded like a great idea.
I wish they would have painted eyes on it, though. You know, with the little balls that swill around and make it look cuckoo - cuckoo clocky. Er.
That would be thrown out the window at the first chance I get. Then I'd go back to bed and sleep until 11 and cheerfully ignore my pager and Blackberry.
