The Bullshit Court

The Bush Machine is making the way down a list to hand-pick the next Supreme Court justice he will try to appoint. One candidate is his OWN FUCKING LAWYER from TEXAS! (Talk about a retard).

He says he's considered people from all walks of life. The Court should - to be most effective and fair, AND JUDICIOUS, to the American people it serves - reflect the makeup of those people.

Of course, there will be a rich, white, male as the Supreme Maharaja Chief Justice. I don't think there's any way around that at this point.

Here is the totally WRONG (by any stretch of the imagination) sitch as it stands now:

8 white
1 afro-american (also white though)
7 men
2 women

According to the US Census report for the year 2000, this should be the makeup of the Court.

7 whites (~78%)
1 afro-american (~11%)
1 hispanic (~11%)
5 women
4 men
(the split b/n men and women is tight but still there are more women than men)


Now get to working on it.
