Blue Bayou
We went on a few of the slides, and I have to admit that they scared me shitless. I hate being scared, I mean really scared. When we walked in we both agreed that we hated rollercoasters and wouldn't be doing any of that shit. On the first slide, my legs started getting kind of shaky as we walked higher and then higher to get to the top. I looked and laughed because Ben was now holding onto the railings with both hands. I told him how I hated planes and didn't like to fly anymore. I told him how about ten years ago I was flying with my GF and we ended up dropping in altitude very quickly and then shortly after zooming back up and circling the ATL airport again before landing. Since then I've realized it was probably turbulence from the plane landing ahead of us, but it scared me so badly, I have an irrational fear of planes. I have even foregone trips because I refused to fly where ever it was that I was headed. The thing was that my GF who was a frequent flyer, whereas I was a casual flyer (but I did like it, before) started crying as the plane went through all of its antics on this particular trip. We were looking around and everyone looked very nervous. At the time, I sat there and assured her that everything was alright, as I'm usually very good in an emergency situation. When we finally landed and her eyes were all dry and she reasdy to fly back to New Orleans, my facade broke down and I started asking her if we maybe shouldn't rent a car to drive back to N.O. I was frantic and scared, and I didn't want to get back in a plane. Now that I didn't have to be strong for anyone else, I was completely breaking down. I was about to cry myself. Well, it was kind of the same thing with Ben. He looked worried and as we got higher and higher, I got excited and wanted to get it over with. I kept telling him that it was okay, and I laughed at him gripping the railings. Hee. We ended up having a good time. Riding some slides, going in the very cool wave pool, swimming, going on the diving board, playing volleyball with some of the other people out there. And, my tan is totally kicking again. Thanks, Ben!

Cool, you didn't burn? I'd have so been sunburn if I spend the day at a place like that.
You water park whore.
PC - nah, didn't burn. I recently found out that I have some Mexican in my blood, so I become a "little brown person"
Rat Ass - Yeah, I'm really quite easy!
Pirate - hey, girl! I'm glad to hear that Calgary has strict laws like that. Us "cagers" need to get a grip. I'm happy you pursued that!
