I heart Astrology and Drinks
MOOD: gross and tired SOUNDS: Twilight Zone by Golden Earring! I've been in the garden picking everyone's veggies before it's even grosser in there. My hands smell like putrid, rotten tomatoes. This is for the Hell of it: Your Scorpio Drinking Style |
If anyone tells you you've had enough, you'll smirk and keep tippling until you're hog whimpering drunk, out of 100-proof spite. You like to drink, and screw anyone who has a problem with that. You see the sauce as something to savor in itself... and not as a personality-altering tool.
If you're depressed, you get self-loathing and seek total obliteration. But generally, you're a fascinating drinking pal, brilliant conversationalist and dizzying flirt. You also remember everything -- especially what everyone did when they were blitzed. Only people you *like* should drink with you! | Your Signature Cocktails | Just as you can look someone in the eye and smile while secretly plotting their demise, so does the brandy-laced Scorpian Stinger's sweet taste hide a potent amount of alcohol. But you abhor tropical drinks, and you will turn up your nose if you're served a scorpian. You rule watermelon, so a pitcher of watermelon margaritas will seduce you -- though red wine will do the trick just as well. | Your Celebrity Drinking Buddies | Hillary Clinton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Demi Moore, Jenny McCarthy, Tara Reid, P. Diddy, and Owen Wilson. |

Plot: "Three wealthy children's parents are killed in a fire. When they are sent to a distant relative, they find out that he is plotting to kill them and seize their fortune. " 6.5 out of 10What a beautiful movie! I think the set decoration what what won an Oscar. The story was pretty good, too - not fantastic, but good. I liked Meryl Streep. Jim Carrey is interesting, but annoying as usual. The soundtrack/score - great. The credits section was also very original, and fun.I'm sure children would be very entertained. An added plus: it's PG for "Scary Situations" - hee.
Blue Bayou
Today, I went to a water park right outside of the city with my neighbor, Ben. He came around the other day and asked if I would want to go - his treat. Since neither of us had ever been there, I thought it sounded like fun. And, it was! We went on a few of the slides, and I have to admit that they scared me shitless. I hate being scared, I mean really scared. When we walked in we both agreed that we hated rollercoasters and wouldn't be doing any of that shit. On the first slide, my legs started getting kind of shaky as we walked higher and then higher to get to the top. I looked and laughed because Ben was now holding onto the railings with both hands. I told him how I hated planes and didn't like to fly anymore. I told him how about ten years ago I was flying with my GF and we ended up dropping in altitude very quickly and then shortly after zooming back up and circling the ATL airport again before landing. Since then I've realized it was probably turbulence from the plane landing ahead of us, but it scared me so badly, I have an irrational fear of planes. I have even foregone trips because I refused to fly where ever it was that I was headed. The thing was that my GF who was a frequent flyer, whereas I was a casual flyer (but I did like it, before) started crying as the plane went through all of its antics on this particular trip. We were looking around and everyone looked very nervous. At the time, I sat there and assured her that everything was alright, as I'm usually very good in an emergency situation. When we finally landed and her eyes were all dry and she reasdy to fly back to New Orleans, my facade broke down and I started asking her if we maybe shouldn't rent a car to drive back to N.O. I was frantic and scared, and I didn't want to get back in a plane. Now that I didn't have to be strong for anyone else, I was completely breaking down. I was about to cry myself. Well, it was kind of the same thing with Ben. He looked worried and as we got higher and higher, I got excited and wanted to get it over with. I kept telling him that it was okay, and I laughed at him gripping the railings. Hee. We ended up having a good time. Riding some slides, going in the very cool wave pool, swimming, going on the diving board, playing volleyball with some of the other people out there. And, my tan is totally kicking again. Thanks, Ben!

What I See When I Smoke This is the reason it's no longer okay for Wheezer to go outside on her leash anymore. The stray is camped out for good it looks like. I've named him "Buster" and have officially gone and done it now.
Sing me.. anything
Sing like you think no one's listening, Sing me something soft, Sad and delicate, Or loud and out of key, Sing me anything.
There are moments when, When I know it and The world revolves around us, And we're keeping it, Keeping it all going, This delicate balance, Vulnerable all knowing,
Sing like you think no one's listening, You would kill for this, Just a little bit
Sing me something soft, Sad and delicate, Or loud and out of key, Sing me anything.
STRAYLIGHT RUN : "Existentialism On Prom Night"
Hello, all you beautiful people!

Yes, I'm in a great mood. My interview yesterday was outstanding! (I'm quite sure I felt your positive vibes)! I am now off of work for two whole weeks. And, I am headed to the beach tomorrow. No checking of any kind of electric device for the next several days. When I get to ATL, I may or may not blog and/or check my e-mail. Who am I kidding? I will probably be posting gobs of pictures of all the lovely things I see. And, maybe some strippers. Hee! Goodbye for now all you wonderful people!
To anyone with banking experience, or specific knowledge of money....
If I have half of a hundred-dollar bill, but actually a fraction more of a bill - a $100 bill torn in a little more than half is what I mean - can I cash this in at a bank for a whole one?? Please tell me, if you know. If not, thanks anyway!
BTW, look at Ben Franklin's little pursed lips! What a Miss Priss!
